Where in you're opinion, are the best and most beautiful places to visit in Europe?

Im not really interested in big city attractions, im talking the small hidden away heavens only some people know of =) i want to take a trip backpacking across europe, and i want to discovery many hidden gems and maybe even walk the Road To Santiago. Where would yourecommendd i visit?
